A romantic dinner is a beautiful way to show a spouse or significant other that you appreciate them and want to make them happy. You can plan the dinner for a holiday or birthday or as an intimate meal in the middle of the work week. The most important thing is to use your creativity to build a romantic dinner atmosphere. It’s not the food alone that makes a dinner for two romantic. It’s a combination of scents, sights and ambiance that make a dinner beautiful.

Tips for a romantic dinner:
– Soft or dim lighting can create a beautiful romantic atmosphere.
– Small, round, and well-dressed tables have intimate appeal.
– Instrumental or classical background music can add enormously to the atmosphere.
– Turn off the TV, the computer and all cell phones.
– Do not serve food with garlic or onion.
– Share a nice chocolate dessert.
– Dress up nicely for a romantic dinner.

  1. I once dated a girl who I had set up dinner on the beach at sunset and thank go the wind was not blowing because if anyone has tried to light a candles on the table on the beach when there is a slight wind it’s next to impossible. Anyways it was a great dinner and after the skinny dipping in the ocean was not bad at all either.

  2. Unless those are Citronella candles, I can see pretty much all of those locations being plagued with flies/midges while you try to eat….

  3. Thanx Cathy For Such Wonderful Pics. & Ideas……..Wish It May Gonna Come Handy Someday Coz By Heart M Very Romantic Person But Till Now I Had Never Got A Chance To Show It……Sigh !!!

      2. I have my first hive this year. Since May 15 when they were set up as a swarm in a hive at Northampton Community College they have produced over 50 lbs of honey all of which we are happily leaving in the hive for winter “stores”. They are important contributors to the NCC Community Garden and have been incredibly busy this summer. We are hoping for the best for winter!
