Do you like my blog? Honest opinions only! :-)

I mentioned last week that I would really like to know what you guys and gals think of my blog, good as well as bad, so I can improve it.

You can make comments on:
1.) Appearance: Does it appeal to you? Is it too busy, or too plain?
2.) Layout: Is it difficult to navigate? Is it cluttered, or sparse?
3.) Frequency: Do I post too often? Not often enough?
4.) Content: Are the posts interesting? Unique?
5.) Quality: Are the individual posts too long, too short, too sloppy, or too generic?

Feel free to leave any other comments that you think will help me improve my blog.

What do you think about my blog?

  1. I used to maintain a blog, but a number of things happened. Chiefly I got busier at work, so I couldn’t fill my downtime with blog entries; and I joined Google+ and it seemed a little strange to post a blog entry and then link to it rather than simply post directly to the stream. That said, let’s run down your suggested list!

Actually, I’d say everything almost perfect! I prefer minimal themes, so you’ve got a good thing going. I would say reduce the whitespace, though. There appear to be big chunks of useless emptiness. If you wanted to keep the emptiness, then change the leading/kerning of the letters to couch closer together – it feels a little like an elementary textbook. Also, maybe try a typeface with serifs instead just to see what it looks like.

Content-wise, I have no complaints. You have a good mix and it seems to fit your personality; you’re not trying to emulate someone else (at least as far as I can tell! I don’t really know you!).

  2. I Don’t Have Much To Say………All I Wanna Tell U Is That Ur Blog Is Very Entertaining & Very Educating As Well :)

  3. I’ve visited many blogs and most make a serious mistake and is looking to be similar to other blogs.
My opinion is that every blog should have the characteristics of its creator.
characteristics, qualities and especially the way you look and think about certain issues … their views. By doing this, a blog becomes unique and original.
You are doing very well … put interesting topics.
I hope your blog is reflecting Cathy, as it is and think. I’m sure you do.

  4. But human sacrifice generally occurs in populations with a surplus,Yes, exactly. It is related to population surplus.not on the ragged edge of su,l&vavrIti#39;s not clear what you mean by that w.r.t. prehistoric people (before the agricultural revolution). Sure, there were great urban societies in the fertile crescent, in South America, and elsewhere, who may have practiced human sacrifice (for similar reasons — there were more people than they could feed). But, there, we're already getting into the tail end of the prehistoric period and creeping into the historic.
